Curious things, habits. People themselves never knew they had them.

Agatha Christie partner

Archibald Christie was the first husband of Agatha Christie, the renowned British writer. They got married on Christmas Eve in 1914 and had one daughter together named Rosalind Hicks. Archibald was an aviator and World War I fighter pilot. During the war, Agatha joined the Voluntary Aid Detachment and worked as a nurse, while Archibald served in the Royal Flying Corps. However, their marriage faced difficulties, and they eventually separated in 1926. The reasons for their separation have been a subject of speculation, with various theories proposed over the years. Despite the separation, they officially remained married until their divorce in 1928. After their divorce, Agatha continued her writing career and achieved tremendous success, whereas Archibald pursued a career in archaeology. Agatha went on to marry Sir Max Mallowan, an eminent archaeologist, in 1930. Archibald Christie's life after the divorce and his contributions in the field of archaeology are lesser-known compared to the fame of his former wife.
