Allen Wang biography

Allen Ong Hou Ming (born November 2, 1979 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) is a former Malaysian swimmer who won two gold medals at the Southeast Asian Games (2001 and 2003) and one gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia (51.57 in the 100 m freestyle and 52.04 in the 200 m freestyle). He also placed twenty-second, as a member of the Malaysian team, in the Swimming at the 2000 Summer Olympics – Men's 4 × 100-metre medley relay (3:48.32), and thirty-seventh in the Swimming at the 2000 Summer Olympics – Men's 200-metre freestyle (1:54.93). Ong is a member of the Malaysian swim team that won the gold medal at the 2001 Southeast Asian Games in the 100 m freestyle and the silver medal at the 2003 Southeast Asian Games in the 200 m freestyle.Ong made his first appearance at the Summer Olympics in the 2000
